Tour Itinerary

  • Day 1. Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) and meet your Big Time Adventures guide. Transfer to Ilboru Safari Lodge in Arusha, enjoying scenic views of Mount Meru along the way. Relax, explore the lodge, and enjoy dinner while your guide briefs you on the upcoming safari adventure.

    • Day 2. Arusha to Tarangire National Park

    After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, traveling through Maasai villages and open plains. Enjoy a game drive among baobab-studded landscapes, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more. Picnic lunch in the park, then continue afternoon game viewing before driving to Eileen’s Tree Inn in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

      • Day 3. Karatu to Ndutu Area

      Drive through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Ndutu region of the Southern Serengeti. Embark on an afternoon game drive in this prime calving area, witnessing thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, along with lions, cheetahs, and hyenas. Picnic lunch en route.         • Day 4. Full Day Game Drive In Ndutu

        Spend a full day exploring Ndutu’s vast plains, seasonal marshes, and acacia woodlands. Witness the dramatic calving season, predator-prey interactions, and abundant wildlife. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives with picnic lunch, and return to Heritage Ndutu Camp for dinner and overnight.

          • Day 5. Ndutu to Arusha via Ngorongoro Crater

          Depart Ndutu early and drive to Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive. Explore the crater floor, spotting lions, elephants, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and the rare black rhino. Picnic lunch in the crater, then ascend and continue to Arusha. Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your departure flight, concluding your unforgettable safari.
