Tour Itinerary
Day 1. Arrival in Arusha
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport and meet your Big Time Adventures guide, who will transfer you to your lodge in Arusha (about 1 hour). Enjoy scenic views of rolling hills, farmlands, and Mount Meru along the way. Check in, relax, and in the evening, enjoy dinner and a friendly safari briefing to prepare for the adventures ahead.

Day 2. Arusha National Park
After breakfast, drive 30–45 minutes to Arusha National Park, a mix of mountain forests, crater lakes, and open plains. Enjoy a guided walking safari with a ranger, spotting birds, monkeys, and small mammals while learning about the local flora and wildlife. Have a picnic lunch surrounded by the lush Ngurdoto Crater and Mount Meru. Optional canoeing on the Momella Lakes lets families paddle among flamingos and hippos. Continue exploring with photo stops to see giraffes, zebras, and more wildlife, then return to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Day 3. Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, drive about 2.5–3 hours to Tarangire National Park, famous for elephant herds, baobab trees, and rich birdlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and possibly lions or leopards. Pause for a picnic lunch amid scenic baobabs, then continue exploring the park’s riverine areas and savannah wildlife. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Day 4. Karatu to Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, drive to the Central Serengeti (5–6 hours), stopping at Olduvai Gorge to explore this historic archaeological site. Day 5. Serengeti: Full-Day Safari & Hot Air Balloon
Wake up early for a sunrise hot air balloon safari over the Serengeti, spotting wildebeest, zebras, elephants, and predators. Celebrate with a champagne breakfast in the bush, then enjoy a full-day game drive, including picnic lunch, with opportunities to see the Big Five and diverse wildlife. Return to your camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Day 6. Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
Drive 4–5 hours from Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, stopping at a Maasai village for cultural interaction and demonstrations. Enjoy a picnic lunch amid stunning highland scenery before checking in to your family-friendly lodge or tented camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 7. Ngorongoro Crater Safari & Departure
After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive, spotting elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos, and possibly black rhinos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before driving back to Arusha (4–5 hours) for transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO), concluding your unforgettable 7-day family safari.
